Integrative Education
The Integrative Education Program focuses on the total child with an emphasis in the following areas: speech and language, school readiness, academics, practical life, play and sensory skills. Students in this program will work from their Individualized Education Programs with 1:1 assistance. In some cases, it may be necessary to supplement the IEP in order to enhance generalization.
School/Daycare Observations
School/day care observations may be conducted to check for generalization of skills or to gain an understanding of what additional skills need to be taught. They are typically done for students who are accessing other services through The Autism Project. Observations can also be conducted to help ensure a school placement is appropriate. It is the responsibility of the family to contact the cooperating school or agency and sign a waiver for release of information. This will allow The Autism Project to observe the student and review any pertinent records.
